It is an honor to be a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed to help others who are in pain, haunted by their past, or in need of support to find a new approach to issues in their lives.  I have the privilege of counseling individuals, couples, and groups to help them overcome their difficulties and increase their personal sense of well-being and satisfaction.  I’ve worked extensively as an Addiction Counselor serving addicts and their families and assisted a wide variety of individuals, couples, and groups who have experienced problems ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, addiction concerns, to the problems of daily living and increasing artistic creativity.

I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara.  I bring a nuanced insight to many rehabilitative treatments, as well as a constructive rapport with those struggling with addiction and sobriety. Additionally, my somatic training with EMDR and TRM certification enables me to provide trauma informed care for clients to help decrease their suffering and increase their emotional balance and feelings of empowerment. My published thesis, “A Comparative Study of Artists and Creativity Through A Jungian Lens,” (ProQuest, 2012) demonstrates my affinity with the creative community where I have developed and led a variety of individual and group workshops over the years.
